It’s that time of the year; Cinco de Mayo in Vegas is usually a huge party, and this year you’ll find plenty of ways to celebrate, although the nightclub is still very lounge like. Here are just a few places and specials to check out:

China Poblano (877.893.2001): Tequila & Mezcal festival April 30 – May 11 pairs spirits of Mexico with dishes inspired by traditional ingredients. Try Mayan pumpkin seed salsa paired with Koch Arroqueño mezcal, tamale mole negro with Rancho Tepua Bacanora blanco or a Del Maguey Espadin flight.

Green Valley Ranch
Borracha Mexican Cantina (702.617.7075): No matter if it’s Cinco de Mayo or not, you can always get excellent authentic food at Borracha, including the killer guacamole. And the drinks are delicious. May 1-5, Borracha hosts new food and specials each day, with a mariachi band and a DJ bringing down the house May 5.
The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian & The Palazzo
Trustworthy Brewing Co. (702.607.2337): Launches its new beer, El Vez, a 6.5% ABV Mexican-style lager. May 6-9, a 16 ounce draft of El Vez and a shot of Gran Centenario Plata tequila is $12.
The X Pot (866.888.9768): May 5 from 5:30-11 p.m. enjoy drink specials like $12 specialty tequila/mezcal cocktails and half-off Mexican beers. ADJ performs in the lounge area from 6 p.m.-midnight.

Favorite Bistro (702.844.3773): Offers Tacos a la French, paired perfectly with the featured cocktail, Oui Oui Margarita.
Icebar (702.586.8925): Cinco de Mayo drink specials, including $8 Cazadero silver tequila shots, $8 Modelo craft micheladas, $30 beer and a $20 frozen spicy mango margarita.
Off The Strip (702.331.6800): One-day menu with chicken taquitos, chicken enchiladas, street tacos, Neapolitan flan, $12 specialty cocktails, such as the Jalapeño margarita and Mexican mule, and $40 beer buckets.
Tilted Kilt (702.826.2100): Drink specials, including $7 shots of Patron and 1800 Tequila, $7 pints of Modelo and Dos Equis lager and $8 margaritas.
Silverton Casino
Mi Casa Cantina Grill (702.263.7777): Bottomless margaritas or Dos Equis XX lager draft and three small plates for $40 per person from 4:30-9 p.m., including two ceviche tostadas, cheese quesadilla served with guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream, fajita beef skewers made with char-grilled steak and ranchero sauce, pork tamale and carnitas.

Mariposa Cocina and Cocktails (2575 S. Decatur Blvd., 702.476.3330): On May 5, specials include $4 house margaritas, buy-one-get-one carafes of coconut or lime margaritas, $5 shots of Revel tequila, $4 Mamitas tequila and sodas and a DJ from 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
Milpa (4226 S Durango Dr. Suite 101, 702.247.4147): Pre-Cinco de Mayo celebration features a pop-up by chef Nicole Brisson of the upcoming Brezza and Bar Zazu at Resorts World and chef DJ Flores from Milpa on May 4 from noon-7 p.m. for a taco collaboration, with octopus tostadas, tamarind-glazed duck tacos and cilantro lime lobster tacos.
The Mob Museum (300 Stewart Ave., 702.229.2734): Offers a tequila and mezcal tasting flight Xicaru reposado mezcal, Siete blanco, Espolon reposado and Maestro dobel anejo for $35 throughout May. May 1-5, order a Cadillac margarita made with Maestro dobel reposado tequila, Grand Marnier and lime juice for $12.
Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant (Downtown Summerlin, 702.982.0111): On May 5, enjoy happy hour specials with house and flavored margaritas, well cocktails, and house wines $3 off from 2-5 p.m.; also features 40 tequila selections, including Don Julio 1942, Jose Cuervo Reserva De La Familia and Gran Patrón Platinum, among others.
PT’s Taverns (multiple venues): May 1-7, $5 Patrón Silver margaritas and $4 Patrón Silver shots. SG Bar, Sierra Gold and Gold taverns offer $2 chicken tacos.
Vegas Test Kitchen (secretburger.com): May 5 Cinco De Mayo Party features chefs Mariana Alvarado of Masazul and Alex White of Yukon Pizza for wood-fired nachos, Berkshire pork carnitas tacos, quesadillas, al pastor pizza on sourdough crust and much more. Drinks include Dobel Tequila margaritas; Dobel Silver strawberry, mint, and fresh lime cocktails; $5 shots; and ice-cold cervezas. $10 cover, menu served a la carte.
