LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Eight children were located in a special operation to locate juveniles who are missing, endangered and victims of human trafficking.
According to the UNLV Tourist Safety Institute at the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs, F.R.E.E. (Find, Restore, Embrace, Empower) International Organization and a slew of State of Nevada, Clark County and local government agencies said eight missing children have been found in Las Vegas during the “Big Search Operation” that took place in Las Vegas during November 10 to 16.
The ‘F.R.E.E. International organization’ says one person was also arrested during their operation, and several new criminal investigations were opened.
Resources were provided to the trafficking victims found to help the victims transition to a survivor.
