LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Former Las Vegas city councilwoman Michele Fiore has filed to appeal the disciplinary action taken against her after she was convicted of seven federal wire fraud charges.
In October, Fiore was found guilty of starting a charity scheme that promised donations toward a memorial of fallen officers in the city.
Fiore was suspended without pay after a guilty verdict.
