Out of the hundreds of restaurants on and near the Las Vegas Strip, Delmonico Steakhouse makes my list each time when suggesting to visitors where a good meal can be had (and it is a personal favorite of this writer, too!). This restaurant from celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse never, ever disappoints. The dining room is perfect for a romantic date night or a nice evening out with a group
of friends.
Dishes here are all good, but for pescatarians the Chilean sea bass might be the best on the Strip—flaky and light with a slight char. Another fave is the roasted Maine lobster tail, simple yet delicious served with grilled lemon. For meat eaters, Delmonico’s offers tons of hand-cut selections from Creekstone Farms, all made with Lagasse’s signature Creole seasoning. Stand-out cuts include the prime bone-in ribeye, double-cut Kurobuta pork chop and the 100% Japanese wagyu. Don’t miss the creste di gallo pasta (an amped up mac and cheese) and the signature Lagasse dessert, banana cream pie.
