LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting on I-15 at Washington Wednesday morning.
Las Vegas Metro police responded to reports of the shooting around 5:30 a.m. at southbound I-15 and West Washington Avenue. One person was transported to UMC with non-life-threatening injuries.
Nevada State Police have temporarily shut down nearby southbound I-15 lanes, and are diverting traffic onto Lake Mead Boulevard. At one point, traffic appeared to be at a standstill near Washington Avenue.
All southbound lanes have been reopened, though an investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
