LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – An LVMPD arrest report identified the person responsible for punching and leading officers in a car chase.
On Oct. 8, Anniah Pratt was stopped by police near Mariner Dr. and Breakwater Dr.
The officer reportedly said “You’re gonna get punched in the f—king face, stop resisting,” and then Pratt punched the officer twice in the face.
According to the report, Pratt punched the officer and was then tased but was still able to get into his vehicle and drive away from the scene.
Pratt’s Jeep was located at the Santa Fe Station Casino a day later.
Officials say Pratt refused to comply with the officer and got into his vehicle to leave the scene for the second time. Before leaving the scene, Pratt crashed into an officer’s vehicle while occupied by police.
The arrest report said, “Pratt led officers on a high-speed chase westbound on Kyle Canyon where he ultimately crashed his vehicle into a desert area, west of Scottie Street. Pratt’s vehicle caught on fire from the crash, and he fled on foot south into the Kyle Canyon wilderness area,”
Police say Pratt was reportedly seen by a bystander near Grand Teton and Loch Diabaig Ston on Oct. 10.
Pratt was taken into custody and later admitted to his involvement. He shared his remorse for placing officers in danger during the collision and pursuit.
