LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Henderson Police Department said an argument led to a fatal shooting Thursday.
Police said the shooting happened around 10:04 a.m. in the 200 block of West Warm Springs Road near Boulder Highway.
Detectives learned a 25-year-old man was in an argument with an employee, 29. The employee asked the man to leave the property and pepper sprayed him.
The argument would continue, leading the employee to use his firearm and fire multiple rounds.
Henderson police and medical arrived at the scene, but despite life-saving measures, the 25-year-old died.
Police said no other injuries were reported. The employee is cooperative with the investigation.
Detectives are investigating this as a homicide. Police did not provide the employee’s occupation.
“As this is an open and ongoing investigation, no further details will be provided at this time,” police said. “The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after next of kin notifications.”
This is being investigated as the seventh homicide for the City of Henderson for 2024.
