Border Grill is bound to make your brunch so much better than you expected. Sit down on Saturday and Sundays for chilaquiles with sofritos, egg and guajillo cream; Drunken Peruvian French toast with pisco syrup; green corn tamales; shrimp cocktail; short rib hash and egg; and churro tots. The cocktails range from typical Bloody Marys and margaritas to Border Grill’s Spicy Mary, with habanero, serrano and jalapeño flavors. Or opt for bottomless mimosas.
At dinner, the grilled skirt steak or grilled fish tacos will stick to your ribs, while duck carnitas give you a different take on the classic dish. A vegan relleno features Impossible meat, purple potatoes and roasted poblano peppers. Mini chiles rellenos combine roasted chiles, chicken tinga and Mexican cheeses, while molcajete grills up shrimp, king crab and scallops plus cactus.
And the churro ice cream sandwich layers the fried cinnamon pastry with salted caramel ice cream and tequila berry sauce—share it, and you’ll end up ordering another.
