HUKL Hospitality has acquired the 17-year-old Marché Bacchus restaurant, at 2620 Regatta Drive, according to an Instagram announcement from the group’s Culinary Director, Chef Jose Avila.
“Dreams keep coming true,” Avila posted to the social media site. “Welcome Marche Bacchus to the HUKL Hospitality Family. It has been an iconic restaurant in the valley for the better part of two decades let’s take it to the next level. Thank you Jeff and Rhonda for your years of hard work and dedication.”
Rhonda and Jeff Wyatt closed the deal on September 10, 2024, the former owners told Las Vegas Review-Journal. The Wyatts were not the original purveyors of Marché Bacchus; they acquired the wine-shop-turned-restaurant in 2007 from Gregoire and Agathe Verge.
It’s unclear if HUKL Hospitality, which is investing millions in Las Vegas restaurants over the next few years, has plans for Marché Bacchus or if they’ll continue operating as is.
“At HUKL Hospitality, it is our goal to create a world class hospitality brand that includes a collection of dining options that meet the unique tastes of guests in the communities we serve,” the group writes on its website. “We focus on unreasonably good food, impeccable service, and an unbeatable team environment.” The HUKL Hospitality brands include Ciao Vino, La Madre Canyon Grill, Marche Baccus, Vamp’d, Ciao Pizza and more.
“Imagine a European escape just 10 miles from the Las Vegas strip in the Desert Shores community near Summerlin where you can watch the swans go by as you dine along with Lake Jacqueline,” according to Marché Bacchus’ website. “Relax and enjoy delectable French and Mediterranean cuisine including steak, seafood, and pasta.”
