LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a motorcycle crash that killed a 41-year-old man Sunday.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred on East Sahara Avenue, west of South Walnut Road, around 5:38 p.m.
Police determined that a 2010 Kawasaki EX250-J failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, and struck a bricking retaining wall and wooden utility police.
Arriving medical crews confirmed that the rider died at the scene.
“The motorcyclist’s death marks the 111th traffic-related death in the LVMPD jurisdiction,” police noted in a release. “This collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.”
