LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County will open colling stations for people in the valley to seek shelter during an excessive heat warning.
The National Weather Service announced excessive heat is forecasted for parts of the Westcoast.
According to County Officials, the cooling stations will open on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and close on Friday, Sept. 6.
Cooling centers will operate during the day at select locations such as the library, community centers, and the food bank.

Clark County is partnering with Help Hope Home Ending Homelessness in Southern Nevada to ensure relief is provided to those in need.
