LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 24-year-old man has been arrested as the second suspect in a deadly shooting east of the Las Vegas Strip.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Devin Perkins was identified as a suspect in a deadly August shooting in the 400 block of Calcaterra Avenue. On Aug. 29, Perkins was located in Los Angeles and taken into custody by local law enforcement.
Police say he is currently awaiting extradition to Las Vegas.
On Aug. 12, LVMPD officers located a man with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road. The man was transported to Sunrise Hospital, where he would later die.
An investigation revealed that a white female was seen with the victim before the shooting, but both fled once a gunshot was heard in the area.
