Whatever it is that brought you to Las Vegas, it’s a safe bet that you’re looking for a good time. And it’s easy to find. When you’re ready to start the party with a dining experience that’s full of energy and specifically geared to satisfy your squad, check out one of these vibrant restaurants offering ideal atmosphere, great food and service and the right vibe for your big night out.
At Resorts World, the Zouk Group has constructed a nightlife district on the southeastern corner of the lavish new property, where Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub are clustered around other fun, lively venues. FUHU (702.676.7740) is the go-to restaurant here, whether you’re gathering for an epic pre-club meal or indulging in brunch on Saturdays. Edgy, Asian-inspired décor sets the tone and shareable plates like miso cod tacos, chili-glazed fried chicken and flash-fried tiger shrimp lead you down a colorful culinary path. Go big with king crab tempura, Boston lobster noodles, sizzling New York strip loin and duck fried rice, and you’ll be well-fueled for the next step on the Strip.
At Mayfair Supper Club (702.693.8876) at Bellagio, the show is built into the dining experience, which means you don’t need to hop around multiple venues to have incredible cocktails and food, a full-scale musical stage production, and a clubby, dance-ready environment later in the evening. Mayfair does it all and throws in magnificent views of the Bellagio fountains to boot. But you’ll be paying equal attention to what’s on your plate, with luxurious creations like the wagyu beef and caviar hand roll, seared foie gras with stone fruit purée, garlic-crusted prime rib with fresh horseradish, Maine lobster thermidor and whole Dover sole. At Mayfair, the food is just as memorable as the entertainment.
Plenty of Vegas visitors (and locals, too) are starting their night with a return to the recently reopened Palms casino resort, and the center of energy at this off-Strip spot is the regal Scotch 80 Prime steakhouse (866.942.7780). The restaurant’s design feels both classic and modern, and every table and booth has its own level of intimacy that makes you feel special. And the menu hits all the right notes, from stellar seafood towers and perfect Caesar salads to your favorite cut of wood-grilled steaks and chops served with all the trimmings. Check out signatures like the potato chip-crusted jumbo lump crab cakes and the “Millionaire’s Maccheroni” pasta with prosciutto, black truffle, poached egg and Parmigiano-Reggiano cream sauce. Decadence makes sense at Scotch 80.
Vibe dining exists in Summerlin, too. La Neta Cocina Y Lounge (702.476.5484) has taken over the northern end of the Downtown Summerlin complex, attracting a daytime and nightlife crowd for rowdy Sunday brunches, happy hour meetups in the expansive bar and lounge area, and fun dinners for birthdays and bachelor or bachelorette parties. Sample different flavors with on-tap margaritas and pass around platters of paella, chili-braised barbacoa beef short ribs and pan-fried branzino as you toast to whatever the night will bring.
