LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Paseo Verde Little League is out of the World Series.
The team faced Lake Mary, Florida Thursday afternoon for an elimination game. Paseo Verde lost 6-3.
Paseo Verde says their World Series run was inspired by a Henderson baseball player who plays in their league an age below them, Colston Delk.
“This is all for him,” Paseo Verde pitcher Gunner Gaudin told FOX5. “I’m playing for him. I’m sure the team is, too.”
The Little League team beat Utah for their ticket to Williamsport and faced their elimination game after losing to Texas.
