LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire near the Las Vegas Convention Center Thursday night.
Deputy Chief Thomas Touchstone told FOX5 there was a fire on a roof at the 3400 block of Paradise Road.
He said the fire did not extend to the inside and there are no known injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown.
Touchstone said it was a “small” fire. Twelve engines, four truck companies, four battalion chiefs, three rescue units, three support units and two investigators responded. They were assisted by the Las Vegas Fire and Rescue.
He said that a response for a high-rise location is usually doubled.
CCFD confirmed with FOX5 that the fire is out.
