LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A suspect is identified for the deadly shooting of a man east of the Las Vegas Strip, police say.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department accuse Anthony Rollans, 28, of open murder. He was booked in absentia into the Clark County Detention Center on Tuesday.
The shooting happened Monday, Aug. 12 in the 3900 block of Palos Verdes Street. This is near Flamingo and Paradise roads.
When officers arrived, they found a Black male adult in his 40s suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died at Sunrise Hospital.
LVMPD Lieutenant Robert Price shared during a press briefing that witnesses recalled seeing the victim speaking to a white female before the shooting.
A “pop” was then heard, and the victim was seen running to his car, bleeding.
Additionally, the woman was seen running southbound on Palos Verdes. Lt. Price added that officers canvassed the area and tried locating the female, but were unable to find her.
FOX5 is asking Las Vegas police if they are still looking for a female suspect.
