LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The suspect accused in a deadly shooting behind a Las Vegas car rental business was booked in Clark County Detention Center on Saturday, police records reveal.
37-year-old Frederick Lee Blanche Jr. is accused of shooting a man and woman behind an Avis Car Rental location on West Sahara Venue on Saturday, Aug. 3.
The woman, identified as Gina Martin, would later die from her injuries. Friends of Martin told FOX5 that the shooting was a targeted attack from Blanche Jr., who is her ex-fiancée.
On Monday, Aug. 5, Blanche Jr. was taken into custody in Buckeye, Ariz. by local law enforcement on multiple felony charges, including open murder.
In Clark County, he faces attempted murder and open murder charges. He appeared before a Las Vegas Justice Court judge on Monday, Aug. 19.
