LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Boulder City’s only brewery that was previously set to close it’s doors will now stay open.
The owners of the Boulder Dam Brewery posted on social media that after a “close call” of almost being forced to close or relocate, they’ve reached an agreement on a lease with a new property owner.
“We are overwhelmed and humbled by the outpouring of support from all of you,” they said online. “Your rallying cries, words of encouragement, and unwavering loyalty truly made the difference. We cannot wait to welcome you back, raise a glass together, and continue creating memories.”
Brewery owner Todd Cook said they were given a 90-day notice to leave the building. Cook said the previous property owners wanted to sell it and were asking for more than they can afford.
A GoFundMe campaign to assist with relocation raised $5,300. It’s unclear how the money will now be used.
