LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – An overturned semi-truck caused major delays in the northeast valley Monday morning.
The rollover only involved the semi-truck and spilled garbage onto the intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says the truck tipped over after turning onto Nellis Boulevard from Cheyenne Avenue around 3:45 a.m.
The driver of the truck was uninjured and remained at the scene. Police say they do not suspect impairment at this time.
Two northbound lanes on Nellis and east and west lanes on Cheyenne have been closed. These restrictions will remain in place until the roadways are cleaned and the investigation concludes.
