If a celebrity chef opens one restaurant in Las Vegas, that’s a big deal. Two? Amazing. Three? You’re entering the realm of legend. Gordon Ramsay, the man who brought the world Hell’s Kitchen, as well as countless other bingeable reality shows, has now opened his sixth restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip—Ramsay’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay—and it’s a stunner, with a welcoming décor and a menu that will have Ramsay’s fans smiling.
Start with a specialty cocktail like the Spiced Pear, featuring Absolut pear vodka, pear liqueur, cinnamon-cardamom vanilla syrup and lemon, or the Boston Inferno, made with Maker’s Mark bourbon, Smoke Wagon small-batch whiskey, dark maple syrup and Angostura bitters.
Then make your way to delights like tuna tartare (accompanied by wonton crisps), jumbo lump crab bake, served with citrus herb aioli and frisée salad, or pan-seared scallops (a Ramsay specialty), served with house-cured pork belly, apricot puree, pomegranate, orange and chicken jus. Of course, there’s beef Wellington (we can’t get enough of this Ramsay classic!), but your main can also include crispy salmon with purple cauliflower puree, harissa roasted cauliflower and beurre blanc.
Sticky toffee pudding, another Ramsay staple, will satisfy for your dessert, but you can also opt for the Eton Mess, a delicious baked meringue, cranberry jam, Chantilly cream, winter citrus and pistachio dust.
