LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police’ search and rescue crews made an early morning save Thursday.
A hiker was lost on Lone Mountain around 3 a.m. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department posted on social media that the hiker was separated from a family member and did not have proper footwear for the hike.
Metro says the rescue is a reminder to wear proper footwear when going on a hike.
The person was not injured, police say.
