LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Monday, a driver who injured five and killed two in the east valley months ago pleaded guilty.
64-year-old Cynthia Phelps is convicted of a deadly crash that happened in April on Boulder Highway near Dalhart Street.
She’s found guilty of three charges including driving under the influence resulting in death.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said Phelps was speeding at the time of the crash.
According to an arrest report, Phelps said she couldn’t remember the collision but remembers waking up to the damage.

A sentencing for Phelps is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 19.
