LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating the death of a woman who fell off the roof of an SUV Friday night.
Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to East Yuma Avenue and South Frank Street around 11:27 p.m. in response to an unresponsive female in the roadway.
Arriving emergency medical services would confirm that the female died at the scene.
An initial investigation revealed that the woman was involved in an argument with an unknown person in an SUV, while she was on the hood of the car. Detectives believe the SUV then came to several abrupt stops during the incident, causing the female to fall off and hit her head on the road.
The SUV then fled the area before police arrived.
No information about the driver of the SUV was immediately available. The identity of the woman will be released by the Clark County Coroner at a later date.
