LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A woman is asking the public for help to find a suspect who attacked her during a road rage incident Sunday.
The victim, Sarah Goolsby, spoke to FOX5 about what she remembers about the attack. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently searching for the suspect.
Video shows Goolsby already knocked down on the side of the road. The suspect starts walking away, but goes back to hit the woman again after she gets up. She said the incident happened on Rainbow going south toward Spring Mountain.
“I thought it was maybe an emergency, had a seizure, lost consciousness. I didn’t know that he was angry until he got out of the car and starts coming toward me,” said Sarah Goolsby. “But I’m not thinking it’s going to end up like that, I’m thinking it’s going to be like, ‘Watch where you’re going, you almost hit me.’”
She says that a police officer drove by the scene and did not stop, but did return to check on her. She also said that she’s thankful that her two children were not with her in the car at the time.
“Would I call the cops and wait for them to show up?” she said. “The way that he was enraged, he would have probably busted the window out and it wouldn’t have mattered.”
