LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Four puppies are now being treated after they were found abandoned in a bucket on a Las Vegas sidewalk.
The Animal Foundation said the four-month-old dogs were left alone in the heat but were brought in to the shelter by Animal Protection Services earlier this week. They were found on Sunday, June 2, near the 5600 block of Solimar Lane, off of Craig and between Decatur and Jones.
All four puppies, two males and two females, are suffering from mange, according to the shelter. Mange is a skin condition caused by mites that infest the skin, causing sores, bleeding and hair loss. The Animal Foundation said they are treating the puppies, who are responding well.
The shelter said the animals didn’t have collars or microchips. The Animal Foundation named them Aramis, Constance, Athos and Milady.
The shelter is raising money to help treat the puppies and ready them for adoption. You can donate here.
