LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – One is injured, and another is in custody after a stabbing on a Las Vegas elementary school campus Friday morning.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department assisted the Clark County School District Police Department with a stabbing incident at Wendell Williams Elementary School around 10:50 a.m.
An adult male was transported to UMC hospital with stab wounds, and another is confirmed to be in custody.
The school is currently under lockdown, though the school district has confirmed that there is no threat to students or staff at this time. A fifth-grade promotion ceremony has been postponed as a result.
CCSDPD will be handling the investigation into the incident, which is ongoing.
