LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Are you looking for a summer job?
The City of North Las Vegas Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting its Summer Hiring Fair on Feb. 22 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
City officials said this event presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking part-time roles in aquatics and summer camps, as they aim to fill over 60 positions.
Some positions the city is recruiting for include program specialists, recreation leaders, pool managers, lifeguards, and more.
According to the announcement, the positions offer competitive hourly rates ranging from $14 to $22 per hour, along with up to $500 in bonuses for aquatic positions.
Additionally, the City of North Las Vegas will provide training and cover the cost of lifeguard certification.
Successful candidates can also expect on-the-spot interviews and immediate hiring, allowing them to begin early training for summer positions to ensure they are well-prepared for their new role.
If you are interested in attending the hiring event, it will take place at the North Las Vegas City Hall located at 2250 Las Vegas Boulevard N.
