Are you extremely particular about your burger? Why not build it yourself? Hubert Keller’s Burger Bar lets you do just that in your quest for the perfect burger. Start with the patty, of course. Burger Bar features black Angus, Kobe-style wagyu from Australia, Beyond Meat, and grilled or fried chicken—wait, is that still a burger? Well, it is protein! Then on to the bun—there are six options, from classic sesame to a pretzel bun. Now come toppings, and some would argue that’s what makes it perfect. It comes with tomatoes, lettuce, pickle and onions, but feel free to get fancy with grilled onions, caramelized onions, blue cheese, Swiss, cheddar, fried egg, jalapeño bacon and even pan-seared foie gras.
Of course, if you just want perfection without thinking about it, you can try the Rossini burger, a decadent thing with Kobe-style wagyu, shaved truffles and sautéed foie gras with a Périgord truffle sauce. Add on an alcoholic milkshake like the French Kiss, with coffee liqueur and chocolate liqueur, and perfection is assured.
