A vegetarian heading to a burger joint seems a little counterintuitive, but Shake Shack is the exception. On the menu is the oh-my-goodness-this-is-so-goood Shroom Burger, a portobello mushroom covered in a crisp-fried breading and stuffed with gooey, melty Muenster and cheddar cheeses and served on like-butter gluten-free buns. For carnivores, Shake Shack combines that burger with a cheeseburger for a towering taste experience, all topped with lettuce, tomato and the secret ShackSauce.
Meat here is 100 percent, all-natural Angus beef, freshly ground, and made up of a proprietary Shackblend. But it’s not all burgers at this burger spot—the crispy chicken sandwich, topped with a buttermilk herb mayo, and flat-top dogs like the Shack-cago Dog, served with relish, onion, cucumber, pickle, tomato, sport pepper, celery salt and mustard, always delight.
The hot spot, with views that overlook the Strip and adjacent Park, also gets big kudos for its handspun, made-in-house-daily ice cream, frozen custards and concrete desserts. Guests can choose from a sweet treat list of mix-ins, too, like chocolate truffle cookie dough, fudge sauce, Belgian waffles and strawberry purée. Hungry yet?
