Boathouse Asian Eatery is amazing in the way it combines Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisines in delicious and inventive ways. The brother and sister owners, who have opened a successful string of pan-Asian restaurants in California, bring their culinary skills to the desert.
Creativity from the kitchen comes by way of Boathouse’s awesome Tacolicious dish, wonton shells filled with spicy crab, tuna, avocado and Thai spicy aioli; jalapeño poppers with spicy crab, cream cheese, sriracha and unagi sauce; and the chips and salsa made with spicy tuna, tempura carrots, avocado and a spicy cream sauce.
Tradition shines through dishes like the salted fish fried rice, black pepper roast duck, clay pot salmon and the fish maw crab soup. Boathouse also has a very wallet-friendly happy hour from 4-6 p.m. daily. Enjoy!
