LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a crash near UNLV that left one person injured Monday morning.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the two-vehicle crash occurred around 5:13 a.m. on Maryland Parkway and Flamingo.
One person was transported to the hospital, though the extent of their injuries is unknown. Police add that impairment is suspected in one of the drivers, but it is currently unclear which.
Flamingo road is currently blocked while an investigation into the crash is conducted.
The public is advised to avoid the area.
