LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Four bodies were recovered from a deadly southwest Las Vegas fire and two people are being treated at the hospital.
The fire started early Thursday morning near Shelbourne and Jones. Firefighters arrived to a three-story home with fire coming from the second and third floors.
The heat pushed out firefighters and delayed search for victims.
At 4:22 a.m. that day, crews extinguished the fire. It was shortly after 6 p.m. that the bodies were recovered.
Clark County said Las Vegas Valley residents asked how they could help.
The Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation are accepting donations throughout November for the family.
Clark County says from Friday to Nov. 24, 100% of donations here will go to the family impacted.
Clark County says the cause of the fire is undetermined, and the identities of the victims are still pending.
The Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation consists of active fire department personnel providing support to victims of fires & catastrophic events.
