LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A police helicopter had to land at a college campus near Las Vegas Tuesday night.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, an LVMPD helicopter made a “precautionary” landing at around 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the CSN Henderson Campus, near College Drive north of I-11.
“A warning light was triggered, and following their training and FAA guidelines, the pilots safely landed the helicopter,” LVMPD said in a news release.
No injuries were reported.
Back in August, another LVMPD helicopter landed in a neighborhood near Pebble and Arville. The helicopter landed in the middle of the roadway and was eventually towed away.
No injuries were reported in that landing either.
