LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting in the northeast valley on Saturday.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to reports of a disruptive house party in the 3800 block of Idlewood Avenue. Moments later, officers were notified that gunshots were heard in the area.
Upon arrival, a male juvenile was located near a home suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical crews would declare him dead at the scene shortly after.
An initial investigation revealed that a vehicle occupied by individuals who attended the party opened fire toward the victim as he was walking away, then fled the area.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
