LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Nevada Secretary of State has launched a text message campaign that allows the office to share information with voters.

The text message campaign is said to increase access of critical information.
“Nevadans are getting inundated with election messaging everywhere they go, and it’s critical that all voters understand that they have access to factual, trusted sources of information,” said Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar. “These text messages will allow us to communicate important information directly to voters and help them navigate the electoral process,”
The number to receive text messages is 25486.
The Secretary of State reported messages will be shared in English and Spanish providing reminders and various voter instructions throughout the November General Election season.
Messages will be formated as seen below.
Aguilar also recommends voters review their mail-in ballot and contact the office if they have any questions.
