LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – American rock band The All-American Rejects announced that they are dropping out of the When We Were Young festival.
The band says management changes for the festival are no longer able to accommodate them upon a previously agreed upon lineup.
The band says it’s impossible for them to continue.
“It is with deep sadness and disappointment that we have to announce that we will no longer be playing When We Were Young festival next weekend,” The All-American Rejects said.
The band says they are devastated to not play. They said they worked tirelessly to prepare a once-in-a-lifetime show.
“We are especially devastated to not get to play for those of you who are traveling across the globe to witness the visual and sonic spectacle we have been brewing up in our cauldron,” the band said. “We’d like to apologize to our amazing crew who have been working around the clock to make the magic happen.”
The Las Vegas festival starts Oct. 19 and 20 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. The festival announced that the lineup will be posted on Monday.
