LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police said a motorcyclist did not stop at a stop sign, causing a crash in the Spring Valley area.
Police said the crash happened around 4:45 p.m. at Sepulveda and Foothill boulevards Friday.
Police said a 48-year-old man rode a 2016 Zero motorcycle eastbound on Foothill Boulevard. A 56-year-old man drove a PT Cruiser northbound on Sepulveda Boulevard.
A crash happened when the motorcycle failed to stop at a stop sign. He entered the intersection and rode into the Cruiser’s path.
The motorcyclist was transported to UMC Trauma by medical personnel with “serious” injuries. The Chrysler’s driver remained at the scene and completed sobriety tests satisfactorily.
“This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section,” police said.
