LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Henderson Police Department believe speed and impairment are factors in a deadly motorcycle crash.
Wednesday, officers responded to Emden Drive and Sunset View Avenue around 6:43 p.m.
The motorcyclist rode a 2021 Harley-Davidson on Mariposa approaching Emden. For unknown reasons, police say the driver left the roadway.
The rider died on scene.
Police believe speed and impairment are factors. Police closed traffic for about four hours during the investigation.
“As this is still an active and open investigation, no further details will be provided at this time,” police said. “The name of the decedent will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after next of kin notifications.”
