LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police responded to a barricade west of I-15 Friday and took one person into custody.
The incident started at 11:43 a.m. in the 4300 block of El Conlon Avenue. This is near Sahara Avenue and Arville.
Police said someone threatened family members with a firearm. The person refused to comply.
SWAT and crisis negotiators responded.
Police said the family members were safe outside the residence.
Clark County School District Police told FOX5 Clark High School was on a soft lockdown due to the barricade. This did not impact after school activities.
Around 4 p.m., FOX5 learned the suspect was taken into custody.
