LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Bureau of Land Management said they cited people seen throwing rocks at Red Rock Canyon Saturday.
FOX5 obtained video showing the incident. Individuals could be seen throwing rocks off of high ledges at the Red Spring Boardwalk Trail.
The BLM confirmed with FOX5 that a ranger made contact with them and issued citations for disorderly conduct and destroying rocks or minerals.
The ranger said there were many people hiking and walking in the area directly where the rocks were being thrown.
FOX5 reported a similar story back in April. Over at Lake Mead, park rangers say they are still investigating an incident where two men were found pushing rock formations.
