LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating decomposed human remains discovered in the east valley last Friday.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, dispatchers received reports of the remains near Lake Mead Boulevard and Pabco Road around 9:42 a.m. Arriving officers would observe a “male in an advance state of decomposition” at the scene.
An autopsy conducted the following day would reveal that the victim suffered gunshot wounds to the head.
Homicide detectives have since taken over the case, and are leading an investigation into the victim’s death.
