LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Two 16-year-olds are accused of a drive-by shooting that killed two men.
Police say the shooting happened Saturday, July 13 around 11:46 p.m. in the 3000 block of Kaibab Avenue. This is near Owens and Pecos.
Police say the two teens were arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder with a deadly weapon.
At the scene of the shooting, officers found a male with a gunshot wound near a driveway in the neighborhood. He later died at the scene.
The other male died at Sunrise Hospital. He suffered from a gunshot wound.
LVMPD investigators determined that both males were shot in front of a residence by a vehicle driving by, which would also flee the area.
The identification of the deceased, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
