LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Las Vegas Police K9 is back on the job after being stabbed earlier this year.
Monday, police said Enzo returned to work mid-July and already apprehended three suspects. Also, the K9 celebrated turning 3 years old July 29!
FOX5 has been following the K9′s story since the stabbing. On March 29 this year, police responded to an armed man in the 1200 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard, later identified as 64-year-old Thurman Lowe. Lowe also started a fire at the scene and it turned into a barricade.
According to an arrest report, Lowe stabbed Enzo 8 to 9 times.

Enzo was expected to live after the stabbing.
In late May, Las Vegas police shared video of Enzo training again. He participated in low-impact training.
“We want to thank everyone from around the world who sent well wishes and love to Enzo,” police said. “Enzo has no lasting effects from the incident and is back out there protecting our community.”
