LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A police helicopter made an emergency landing in a south valley residential area on Thursday morning.
Flight tracking data shows that the aircraft took off from North Las Vegas Airport around 9:15 a.m. and landed on Pebble Road, just west of Arville, around 10:07 a.m. According to a tweet from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, investigators are working to determine why the helicopter made the landing.
No injuries have been reported and officers on board the aircraft are okay.
The surrounding roads have been shut down while the investigation is underway.
The public is advised to avoid the area.
