Gordon Ramsay’s sixth Vegas restaurant opened at Harrah’s this fall and Ramsay’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay lives up to its siblings’ reputation, serving up signatures and newer items alike.
Ramsay’s Kitchen features a dynamic menu of cocktails like the strawberry chocolate Negroni, which uses strawberry-chocolate infused gin and the Left Hand Side, with dark rum, Aperol, sweet vermouth and mole bitters—now isn’t that inventive? There are mocktails and wine as well.
Jumbo lump crab cakes, foie gras, and the roasted grape flatbread join selections from the raw bar menu like shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell, a seafood tower with a little of everything and beef carpaccio to whet your appetite. The soups include an intriguing vegan option, the potato and cashew, but also onion soup with oxtail. The beet salad sports a smattering of everything bagel croutons for a nice crunch.
In that this is a Ramsay restaurant, of course you will find signature main dishes like beef Wellington and pan-seared scallops, easily recognizable to fans of his TV shows, as well as crispy skin salmon, baked chicken and butternut squash risotto.
If it is a piece of steak you are after, try an 8-ounce filet, 14-ounce bone-in New York strip or the 24-ounce bone-in ribeye. Pair your steak with sides like potato purée, mac & cheese, broccolini with chili flakes and butter and grilled asparagus. The maitake mushrooms are grilled with char siu butter and accented with a miso aioli. Pretty nice!
