LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Around 1 p.m. Monday, the area of Barstow, California experienced a 4.9 magnitude earthquake.
The United States Geological Survey said the intensity of the earthquake could be felt southwest of Barstow, such as Los Angeles, Long Beach and Temecula. However, FOX5 has seen online discussions of people feeling the earthquake in the Las Vegas Valley as well.
The last earthquake reported in Las Vegas was back in April. It was a 2.3 magnitude earthquake southwest of Henderson.
