LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man was shot and killed in the central Las Vegas Valley Thursday night.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the shooting happened around 10:23 p.m. July 25 in the 1900 block of Alwill Street, near Rancho and Vegas drives.
Arriving officers found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound between two buildings, LVMPD said. The victim was taken to University Medical Center where he later died.
Police said the victim approached two people he didn’t know and an altercation occurred, then one of the two people shot the victim.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim once next of kin is notified.
