LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced Monday it is increasing its security efforts ahead of President Joe Biden’s visit to Las Vegas.
The president is expected to land at Harry Reid International Airport Monday evening.
The police department says it has added extra resources for security details throughout Biden’s full visit to Las Vegas. This includes every location the president plans to visit.
Drivers are warned to expect delays on roads Biden will be traveling on. Closures will impact roadways throughout the valley. LVMPD says everyone will see an increased presence of officers across town.
