LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police is investigating a deadly crash early Saturday morning.
The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on I-15 northbound ramp to US 95 southbound. State Police said the crash was between a box truck and a passenger car. Officials said the driver of the passenger car was pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported.
State Police said while the crash happened on the one ramp, debris from the crash is scattered across multiple ramps, causing a wide closure. Police estimated the closure could last more than 8 hours.
State Police said they are still investigating whether impairment or speed were factors in the crash.
