LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – On Friday, June 21 at approximately 7:22 p.m., the Nevada State Police responded to a crash in the area of Flamingo Road, westbound to the US95 northbound on-ramp.
According to an NSP report, an investigation indicated that a black 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on Flamingo Road in the far right turn lane to enter the US95 northbound on-ramp. The motorcycle rider was traveling too fast while negotiating a curve and struck the left concrete median wall, ejecting the rider from the motorcycle.
The motorcycle was redirected to the right and overturned on its left side, facing northeast, north of Flamingo Road. The rider of the motorcycle, Tristan Warren Ruble, a 25-year-old male from Las Vegas, was transported to a nearby hospital for injuries sustained in the crash and was later pronounced dead by medical personnel.
The investigation is being conducted by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol—Southern Command M.I.R.T (Multidisciplinary Investigation & Reconstruction Team). The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Southern Command has investigated 34 fatal crashes resulting in 42 fatalities so far in 2024.
